Meet your hosts
It all started with an idea. Four friends came together with a shared vision and turned a passion project into something that will last a lifetime. With the motto, "many hands make light work," we embarked on a journey to transform Hoot's from an overgrown property into a hideout - a special place to enjoy and share with others. Fast forward a few years, and we’re no longer just friends, we’re familiy!
At first glance, the task was daunting—Hoot's needed a lot of love both inside and out. But with the help of friends and our diverse talents, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Each of us contributed our own skills, ideas, and vision to create a truly unique space. Along the way, we learned to trust one another, collaborate, and keep our mission clear:
For groups of friends or family who want a private, beachfront getaway in the heart of the Okanagan’s wine country, Hoot's is more than just a place to stay—it's a place to create memories. We offer a retreat for friends and families to relax, reconnect, and have a blast, with the best amenities and unbeatable lake access.
Nothing brings us more joy than seeing our guests have an absolute "Hoot"—whether it's splashing in the lake, lounging on the dock, or toasting to a beautiful sunset. We can't wait to share our slice of paradise with you!

Andrew
Andrew is the financial brains behind Hoot's, ensuring the project came to life with precision and foresight. As a Chartered Professional Accountant, Andrew’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills have been essential to the success of Hoot’s. He’s also Meg’s brother and an all-around handyman who’s always up for tinkering or taking care of the property. Since starting this project, Andrew has fallen in love with lake life and can be found enjoying weekends at Hoot’s with his family.
Meg
Meg brings a touch of creative energy to the team, making sure everyone stays organized, fed, on track and all playing good tracks as the resident dj. She’s the one behind the camera, capturing all the best moments and curating the perfect finds to make Hoot's feel like a home. Whether it’s documenting the journey, connecting with guests, or spreading the word about Hoot's, Meg ensures everything runs smoothly—and with heart.
