Welcome to Hoot’s!
A nature lover’s escape.
Hoot’s Hideout is a unique and luxurious rural getaway located 10 minutes North of Penticton’s downtown core. What’s magical about the property is its’ seclusion. Hoot’s sits tucked away in the shaded trees beside the creek on the edge of Okanagan Lake. Many birds enjoy the quiet and calm waters of the inlet and the thick pine trees that envelop the beach house.
Hoot’s Hideout is the perfect spot to stay and a launchpad to enjoy everything the South Okanagan has to offer. The Hoot’s Crew has worked hard to create the perfect space to have a hoot whether you decide to leave the property or not.

We hope you have a hoot!
Like every home, Hoot’s beach house has a unique and rich history. Components of the original dwelling remain but the old home has seen several upgrades. Hoot’s is inspired by natural elements of the Okanagan desert, mixed with reclaimed materials, and styled with nautical, vintage, and rustic touches.
The spacious open kitchen features a large butcher block peninsula, deep drawers, new appliances, and tons of room to cook up a feast! The kitchen, dining, and living room are open concept making it easy to enjoy breathtaking views and relax in the comfort of bright natural light. The deck off the main floor has a comfy lounging and dining area and BBQ that overlooks the lake in the shade of the towering pines.
“Hoot’s is more than just a house on the water, it’s a community. People come here and are immediately inspired to have a good time. It’s become a community where people gather to have fun, share, recreate and relax” - Hoot’s Crew
A mix of the original architecture, reclaimed materials, wood, steel, shiplap, and beachy interior design, come with stories to tell—but also with room for you to tell your own.
